Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned UiPath Test Cloud (formally Suite) Automation Technical Architect to join our pre-sales organization and drive the identification, qualification, and conversion of UiPath Test Automation opportunities across North America (with occasional support for the EMEA market). In this hands-on role, you will partner closely with our Sales teams and prospective clients to design, prototype, and demonstrate enterprise-scale test automation solutions using UiPath Test Cloud. You will act as a trusted advisor, communicating complex technical concepts with clarity to stakeholders up to the C-suite, and help shape both our go-to-market strategy and the future growth of our Test Automation practice.
If you’re a pragmatic problem-solver who thrives in front-line, client-facing roles, and you’re passionate about advancing enterprise testing through intelligent automation, this is your opportunity to shape the future of test delivery with UiPath.
Key responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Technical Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales and Solution Architects to qualify test automation opportunities
- Lead technical discovery workshops and solution design sessions with client stakeholders
- Build rapid proof-of-concepts (POCs) and demos that showcase UiPath’s test automation capabilities in enterprise environments
Client Advisory & Education
- Advise clients on best-practice testing processes, frameworks, and toolchains
- Compare and articulate the strengths, use-cases, and ROI of UiPath Test Cloud versus competing solutions (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Tricentis)
- Deliver engaging technical presentations and Q&A sessions to audiences ranging from hands-on SMEs to senior executives
Solution Delivery & Enablement
- Provide hands-on development, configuration, and troubleshooting support for pilot and early-production engagements
- Mentor and upskill internal delivery teams, ensuring consistent, repeatable implementation methodologies
- Capture and share customer use-cases, reference architectures, and lessons learned to refine our delivery playbook
Practice Growth & Thought Leadership
- Contribute to the growth of our Test Automation practice by identifying new service offerings and vertical-specific use cases
- Speak at industry events, webinars, and user-group meetings to raise awareness of UiPath Test Suite
- Partner with product management to provide customer feedback and influence the product roadmap
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Expertise
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation architecture and implementation
- Deep knowledge of UiPath Test Suite (or equivalent RPA-driven test automation tools)
- Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., C#, Python, JavaScript) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Pre-Sales & Consulting
- Proven track record in a technical pre-sales or solutions consulting role, ideally within RPA or test automation
- Ability to lead discovery sessions, POC builds, and executive presentations
Testing Domain Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of software testing processes (functional, regression, performance, UI) and industry standards (ISTQB, TMMi)
- Experience evaluating and integrating complementary testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Tricentis Tosca)
Communication & Leadership
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated people-management or team leadership experience preferred, with readiness to lead and scale a practice
Geographic Focus & Travel
- Based in North America, with willingness to travel up to 40% for client workshops, conferences, and internal team meetings
- Flexibility to support key strategic accounts in the United Kingdom as needed
